I am curious about this photo. Did part of the left verticle fin & rudder 
fall off of the aircraft in flight? Was the image altered for some security 
reason?,  Or perhaps the photo shows a partial failure of a first generation 
"cloaking" device.
Just curious why more than half of the left verticle fin is missing.
I love the shot of the B-58, and XB-70.

I think it is the result of a shadow of the right stabilizer cast on the left 
in peculiar light conditions.

I don't think that it's missing, just covered by the shadow of the
right vertical fin.  A trick of the perspective and lighting, but I
think the shadow is just the right shape from that angle and the
lighting makes the shadowed white left fin blend into the background
sky.
